One of the best dog trainers, I have come across is Diane Bauman. She says "it doesn't matter what you do with your dog, but teach it something everyday"With a dog a smart and as people focused as a Standard Schnauzer you might lose half of a great dog if you don't engage it mentally as well physically.
It does not have to be agility or obedience, it can be backyard tricks.
