August is our last available puppy. I held onto him because I was deciding between him and his brother Abe. I did make a final choice (although I do change my mind every so often!) and decided to re-home August to a performance home. As you can see by this video: He is a very busy and agile boy. May 2015 update. August has found his forever home. He was place last fall with a loving family in Conn and he is keeping everyone busy on their little homestead!

Week 7 - Arbor Standard Schnauzer "A" Puppies
Well, this is my final full week with ALL the puppies. It is sad and happy moment for me. I will miss them soooo much and at the same time, I know they soon need that one-on-one human attention that I could not give to all 10. I am very proud of each of them and there is little I would do differently. I know each of them will make their new families very happy. So for their 7th week birthday they got a bottle pool, a tunnel and different chew toys. Also Liz is playing one on one with MS Red. I think she will miss them more than me.

Week 6!
Puppies are now 6.5 weeks old and really coming into their own. Variety is the spice of life this week. We will be having a different object in their outdoor playroom every day. In this video is the pool upside empty ...then upside down. They are also becoming good break out artist.. So bought some new fencing to shore up the pen. SO far SO good - until you see the last frame in the video below.
ENJOY!

Puppies are learning lessons
I built a (very) makeshift path from the kitchen to an outside pen. It will be refined over the next few days and proofed for the bigger puppies they will become. They learned to use a step (and it is a big step) jumping off and climbing up. Mom is watching at a distance as she does not want as much direct contact with them. They are still nursing 3-4 times a day, mostly just after they eat solid foods.
And Oliver my mini, still does not want direct contact with the pups. So he will wait to go outside until all are back in their pen. So enjoy the video of the pups learning about steps.
The Puppies Learn Some Lessons. And Oliver still will not meet the pups!
